FUEL Fit ("we", "us", "our") is a personal fitness and nutrition tracking app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is stored and protected.
FUEL is currently in beta. We are a small, independent project — not a corporation. Your data is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.
✓ No passwords — we use Google Sign-In only. We never see or store your password.
✓ No location data — we don't track where you are.
✓ No device identifiers — no fingerprinting or device tracking.
✓ No advertising data — we show zero ads. We collect nothing for ad targeting.
✓ No third-party sharing — your data is never sold or shared with anyone.
Your profile, food logs, and measurements are stored so the app works — showing your progress, calculating targets, and displaying history.
Aggregated, anonymised usage patterns (not individual data) may be reviewed to understand how the app is used and to improve features.
When you use the AI food search feature, your typed query is sent to the Anthropic Claude API to identify nutritional information. No personal profile data is included in these requests.
All data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
Your data is private to your account. No other user, including FUEL administrators, can view your personal logs or measurements during normal operation.
You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us via the Feedback form in the app. We'll complete this within 7 days.
You can request a copy of all your data. Email us and we'll send it within 7 days.
All your data is editable directly within the app — profile, measurements, food logs, and targets.
FUEL is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you within the app. Continued use of FUEL after changes means you accept the updated policy.
